
dashboard summary
The purpose of Dashboard is to display information on your project and is a general indication of how your project is progressing. Activities is a count of task and milestones. Resources is a count of resource types (work, material, cost). Performance counts the number of tasks and shows the comparison between forecast, complete and baseline. Progress shows your project %complete and %work complete. Status show project tasks which are complete, on schedule, late and future. N

schedule trend
The purpose of Schedule trend is displays cumulative finish dates for baseline and actual tasks. It is important to remember this metric does not consider the task to have been completed as per its baseline finish date.
However, it does give a general indication of how your project is progressing.
With schedule trend you are able to analyse the metrics to assess if your project tasks are meeting their expected baseline dates, Baseline Execution Index (BEI) and Hit or Miss

field explorer
The purpose of Field Explorer is to provide a mechanism to view and filter on user defined custom fields. Generally these fields can contain specific information and values designed for managing the schedule.
Click the field name to apply the filter on the current view or right click to add or remove the field from the current view. Expand each section to display fields (test, flag, resources, number) Click field name to filter the current task view

task drivers
The purpose of Task Drivers is to display predecessors and successors for a selected task. Controlling tasks are marked with an asterisk alongside the task ID. You can double click the controlling task to manually trace through the schedule.
